River Star Diner is a nostalgic New Jersey diner located in Hackettstown, N.J. Family owned and operated for more than 20 years, General Manager John Bayram thoughtfully continues what his father started with classic NJ diner fare and comforting American cuisine with touches of European influences. The diner's design harkens back to a time when New Jersey was famous for its diners and it serves as our inspiration, updated for today.
Our menu spotlights a large selection of paninis, salads, burgers, and of course, breakfast. Seafood, chops, and European dishes come straight from John's father's recipes along with a variety of house-made sauces. We also offer catering services.
A shaded patio along side the Musconetcong river adds to the experience.

We believe that in order to be successful, we need to be strong for our community as well, which is why we get involved as often as we can with community events.
